About Our Refurbished Featherweight Sewing Machines

 

Each one of our refurbished sewing machines is guaranteed to be an original Singer® Featherweight 221 or 222 Model.  The serial number, date, and place of manufacture are provided for ease in confirming the Featherweight's authenticity.

We believe our refurbishment and repainting procedure to be the finest worldwide.  Each machine is completely stripped of all old paints and japanning processes and then thoroughly cleansed and prepared to undergo a meticulous layering application of sealers, primers, basecoats, clear coats, and protective finishes of our own specially formulated custom paints.

Our final signature step for each and every Featherweight we accomplish is our full-scale comprehensive hand polishing, which produces our acclaimed mirror-like finish.  This fastidious finishing process enhances our own unique rich gold Celtic Chain decals and allows them to shine brilliantly with superior protection and durability.

Each mechanical component (including all screws, nuts, and bolts) is meticulously cleansed and polished and all electrical parts (including internal wiring and motor) are rigorously subjected to the highest scrutiny for your safety and to ensure optimum performance and longevity of service.
